Kingston Council have decided to remove this beautiful tree across from St Johns Church. It has acted for many years as a natural traffic calming device on a very busy corner. I am contacting Councillors Hitchcock, Ricketts and O'Connor of the Lib-Dems who cover Grove area today. Sending letter to Surrey Comet and other local papers. Will be distributing flyers at the weekend. This tree is worth saving - would appreciate advice from anyone who has successfully saved a tree before. Thanks
