Cleaning products are made without care for human life, let alone the life of other organisms on earth. They are pumped through advertisements emphasizing their convenience yet never mentioning their hazards.
These products are sold and used everywhere in the world. Yet, anyone who does a little research can easily access scientific evidence of their deadly impact on the environment.
While claiming they get rid of "harmful" organisms (e.g., bacteria, germs, etc.) they are actually doing more harm to your body and to nature than those organisms typically can. Using these products CREATES the impression of cleanliness but rarely ever achieves true, safe cleanliness.
Safe, non-toxic, biodegradeable, hypo-allergenic alternatives are now more easily accessible than ever, and their prices are comparable to the hazardous products. Indeed, some of these alternatives are way cheaper (e.g., baking soda, vinegar, etc.). For the sake of your own health, the health of others around you, and for a safe environment, everyone must switch to these safe alternatives without losing time.
Hazardous chemicals are most often used for laundry, dishwashing, tile, carpet, and other surface cleaning, deodorizing the body, in perfume, shampoo, soap, and other cosmetics, just to give a short list. ALL of these have safe alternatives, which I pledge to switch to.
This cruelty must be stopped. Will you do your share?
